The Reserve at Fernhill Apartments is a 196-unit multifamily apartment complex at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Highway 47 in Forest Grove, across from McMenamins Grand Lodge.  After Albertson’s sat on the property for years due to lack of commercial viability, it was brought to our attention, and we discovered the ability to develop multifamily housing on the property.  JT Smith prepared plans and developed a relationship with the City of Forest Grove to bring the project online in record time, despite the global and local challenges of the early 2020’s.

A unique and thoughtful design threw out traditional apartment amenities such as pools and spas that can only be utilized a few months out of the year in Oregon.  These were replaced with a covered field house for year-round indoor sports and activities, a fenced dog park, a basketball court, a beautiful redwood play-structure atop artificial turf to minimize injuries in falls, and an indoor community center and workout facilities.  Construction is rapidly completing, with the first three buildings completed, occupied and families are lining up to move in!
